Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington). They came out on top against the WACO Warriors by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Washington needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Washington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for WACO, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Washington will square off against Mt. Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Pleasant's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for WACO, they will challenge Sigourney at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
