Basketball Recap: Crosby Triumphs

Crosby won the last time they faced Hamshire-Fannett and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars walked away with a 73-66 victory over the Longhorns. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Despite the loss, Hamshire-Fannett still got an impressive performance from Kobe Prejean, who shot 60% from the field en route to 24 points. Prejean is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Dmitri Hill was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 17 points and seven boards.

Crosby now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Crosby will face off against Fort Bend Hightower at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Hurricanes have now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they will square off against Kashmere on Thursday.
