Soccer Recap: Live Oak's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Live Oak brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They never let the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors onto the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Acorns as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Live Oak's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Yerba Buena, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Live Oak and Yerba Buena's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Live Oak and Branham (who has only given up 0.2 goals per game) will meet at 6:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Similarly, Yerba Buena will challenge San Jose at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025, a squad that's only allowed 0.4 goals per game.
