Football Game Recap: Red Rock Central vs. Edgerton/Ellsworth

Edgerton/Ellsworth had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 14-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Red Rock Central. If Edgerton/Ellsworth were hoping to take revenge for the 24-35 loss against Red Rock Central the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Edgerton/Ellsworth off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Red Rock Central a 1-0 record.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Edgerton/Ellsworth will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Renville County West at 7:00 PM. Red Rock Central are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Fulda next week at 7:00 PM.
