Orono entered their tilt with Zimmerman on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Thunder by a score of 30-21. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Orono's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Zimmerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Orono will venture away from home to take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 3.2 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Zimmerman, they will take on Big Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunder will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
