Volleyball Recap: Tulare Western Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tulare Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Hanford Bullpups. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 25-15.

Miranda Kunz had a dynamite game For Hanford., getting 21 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Kunz a new career-high. Daniela Rodriguez was another key player, getting 17 assists and seven digs.

Tulare Western's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Hanford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tulare Western is set to take on their familiar foe Tulare Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hanford will face off against rival Lemoore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
