Milford was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Maeli Kubicek did her best to prevent it. Kubicek wasn't messing around, striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with one or fewer walks.
