Basketball Game Preview: Triton Hawks vs. Overhills Jaguars

The Triton Hawks will square off against the Overhills Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Triton came up short against Pine Forest and fell 47-40. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Overhills waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They claimed a resounding 68-12 win over the Trojans. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Triton better keep an eye on Najiha Allen. She was instrumental in Overhills' win, shooting 4-for-7 from deep and almost dropping a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. Allen's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Paris Autry, who went 8 of 12 en route to 19 points along with seven assists and four steals.

Overhills' victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Triton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
