Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph). They were the clear victors by a 34-8 margin over the Buena Chiefs on Friday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Chiefs are ranked 322nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Buena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph will venture away from home to square off against Atlantic County Institute of Tech at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Buena, they will welcome New Egypt on Friday.
