It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Silver Valley can now relate to. They came up short against the Cathedral City Lions on Wednesday, falling 6-0.

Silver Valley was without their leading scorer, Danielle Sarpong, in Wednesday's contest. With Sarpong sidelined, Silver Valley had to make some changes to the lineup. Ruby Arias played for 80 minutes having averaged 40 this season and Brianna Aguilar got 80 vs. an average of 30.

Silver Valley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Cathedral City, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Silver Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cathedral City, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 victory against Coast Union on the 14th.
