It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Douglas ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sahuarita Mustangs, sneaking past 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Mustangs on Monday, they had to take a 6-4 loss.

Isidro Hoyos was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk).
