Volleyball Game Preview: IC Catholic Prep Knights vs. Rockford Christian Royal Lions + How To Watch

The IC Catholic Prep Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Rockford Christian Royal Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, IC Catholic Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Chicago University, taking the game 2-0. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Rockford Christian hadn't done well against Lutheran recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Royal Lions came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 2-0.

Rockford Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

Rockford Christian found their leader in sophomore Odessa Bucciferro, who had nine digs and two assists.

Rockford Christian's victory bumped their record up to 28-5. As for IC Catholic Prep, their win bumped their record up to 11-19.
