Recap: Forest Lake Christian Falcons vs. Delta Saints

The Forest Lake Christian Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-29 bruising from Delta. Forest Lake Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Delta apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Forest Lake Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Julia Nguyen. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points along with eight steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzi Harrington, who scored seven points along with three blocks.

Forest Lake Christian bumped their record down to 3-9 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Delta, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Forest Lake Christian will head out on the road to face off against Encina Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delta, they will be playing at home against Foresthill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foresthill will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
