Softball Recap: Lenox Victorious

While Lenox's victory against Nodaway Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Wolverines on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since June 6th.

The win made it two in a row for Lenox and bumps their season record up to 9-11. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Nodaway Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Lenox has already played their next matchup (against Mount Ayr), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Nodaway Valley also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against East Union.
