Volleyball Recap: Argo Comes Up Short

Argo lost against Oak Lawn back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Argonauts fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

While Argo was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23.

Argo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record this season. As for Oak Lawn, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Argo will take on Hancock at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Lawn, they will head out on the road to face off against Sandburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
