Ruston had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They put the hurt on the Neville Tigers with a sharp 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Ruston's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Neville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
