Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Faith Christian Academy lost against Renaissance Academy last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Faith Christian Academy Lions fell to the Renaissance Academy Knights 42-38. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Renaissance Academy to victory were Aniyah Jones and Dallis Stewart. Jones went 5-for-12 en route to 12 points, while Stewart posted 12 points. That's the most points Jones has posted since back in December of 2024.

Faith Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Renaissance Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Faith Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Renaissance Academy, they will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Calvary Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so Renaissance Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
