Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Trinity Christian's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Mary Persons Bulldogs on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Trinity Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makenzie Knowles, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Mary Persons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

While Trinity Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
