Soccer Recap: Whiteoak Takes a Loss

Whiteoak came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-1 to the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets. While losing is never fun, Whiteoak can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Fayetteville-Perry are ranked 57th).

Whiteoak's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fayetteville-Perry, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Looking ahead, Whiteoak will face off against Eastern at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they have already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Georgetown on the 11th.
