Basketball Recap: Kaimuki Takes a Loss

Kaimuki was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-33 loss at the hands of the Waipahu Marauders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marauders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-39 back in November.

Kaimuki's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Waipahu, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Kaimuki has already played their next matchup, a 33-25 victory against McKinley on the 22nd. Waipahu and Kalaheo will round out the year against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
