Baseball Game Preview: Stephens County Indians vs. Hart County Bulldogs

Stephens County is 1-9 against Hart County since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Stephens County will venture away from home to square off against Hart County at 5:55 p.m. Stephens County will be strutting in after a victory while Hart County will be coming in after a loss.

Stephens County will bounce into Monday's match after beating Hebron Christian, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. Stephens County came out on top against Hebron Christian by a score of 8-5 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hart County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to Franklin County. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Stephens County's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Hart County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Stephens County might still be hurting after the 10-2 defeat they got from Hart County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Stephens County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
