Baseball Recap: Stratford Academy Takes a Loss

Stratford Academy lost against First Presbyterian Day last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Stratford Academy lost 10-2 to First Presbyterian Day. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tate Johnston made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Stratford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for First Presbyterian Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stratford Academy will take on Central Georgia Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will face off against Bulloch Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
