Softball Game Preview: Flowery Branch Falcons vs. Johns Creek Gladiators

The Flowery Branch Falcons will face off against the Johns Creek Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Johns Creek took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Flowery Branch, who comes in off a win.

Flowery Branch proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by nine) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Lanier 5-4.

Meanwhile, Johns Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to West Forsyth. The contest marked the Gladiators' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Johns Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Grindle, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Flowery Branch's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Johns Creek, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
