Soccer Recap: Linfield Christian Has No Trouble Against St. Margaret's

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Linfield Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the St. Margaret's Tartans on Tuesday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Tartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2016.

Linfield Christian hit St. Margaret's with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julianne Richter (2), Makayla Runyan (2), and Lily Waddell.

Linfield Christian now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for St. Margaret's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linfield Christian will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Margaret's, they will face off against California at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
