Centralia entered their tilt with Palmyra on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past Palmyra 16-1. Centralia has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Palmyra, too.

Centralia's win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Palmyra, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centralia will face off against Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Palmyra, they will take on Hannibal at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.5 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
