Baseball Recap: Wheeler Takes a Loss

Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Cobb Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Tuesday.

Wheeler saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenric Nair, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for North Cobb, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-21-1.

While Wheeler had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
