Football Recap: Sedgwick Takes a Loss

Sedgwick had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-7 to make it six. They were dealt a 40-0 defeat at the hands of the Remington Broncos. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

As for Remington, they moved to 2-6 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. Their offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Pius Graf had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 140 yards and one TD while completing 76.5% of his passes.

Sedgwick wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 48-6 victory against Bennington on the 30th. As for Remington, they have also already played their next game, a 64-0 loss against Smith Center on the 30th.
