Recap: Shade Panthers vs. Cambria Heights Highlanders

Sienna Kirsch was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds for Cambria Heights. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Kirsch has scored at least a third of Cambria Heights' points. Malina Gaida was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Shade's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-12. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.2 points per game. As for Cambria Heights, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

As for Cambria Heights, they will head out on the road to take on Portage at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Portage presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cambria Heights in Pennsylvania (Portage is ranked 35th, while Cambria Heights is ranked 320th).
