Jaxson Dart, Chargers win big in opener as two teams enter this week's rankings.

Utah kicked off the 2020 high school football season with 50 varsity games on Thursday and Friday night. There were minor shifts in the Utah Top 25 high school football rankings after Week One action, but it's still too early to tell how the season will shake out.

Corner Canyon (Draper) showed why it was tabbed as the state's top team heading into the season. The Chargers cruised to a 49-20 win over Farmington.

Davis (Kaysville) and Herriman (West Herriman) was the lone game on Thursday. Davis jumped out to a 24-7 lead and held on to beat Herriman 24-20, who was ranked No. 14 to start the night. The Darts now join the Top 25 at No. 20 overall.
