Soccer Recap: Griffin Comes Up Short

Griffin lost against Harris County back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Griffin fell just short of Harris County by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Griffin couldn't quite close it out.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Harris County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Griffin will welcome McDonough at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harris County, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on LaGrange at 7:30 p.m. on April 8.
