Soccer Game Preview: North Tahoe vs. South Tahoe

The North Tahoe Lakers are taking a road trip to challenge the South Tahoe Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

South Tahoe better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if North Tahoe's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when North Tahoe really gets things going. The Lakers blew past Churchill County 4-1. Considering North Tahoe have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, South Tahoe faced Truckee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings walked away with a 4-2 win over the Wolverines. The victory was nothing new for South Tahoe as they're now sitting on four straight.

North Tahoe's win bumped their record up to 9-2-2. As for South Tahoe, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 9-2-2.
