Belmont has gone 8-2 against Inter-Lakes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Raiders will be playing at home against the Lakers at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Belmont has nine straight victories, Inter-Lakes has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Belmont beat Somersworth 10-5.
Wyatt Divers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Divers was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brayden Townsend, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Bamford, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI and one stolen base.
Belmont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Inter-Lakes' offense. They lost 17-0 to Kearsarge on Friday.
Belmont's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Inter-Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Belmont has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Inter-Lakes struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Belmont was able to grind out a solid victory over Inter-Lakes in their previous matchup last Tuesday, winning 9-4. Do the Red Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
