Basketball Game Preview: Fresno Warriors vs. Coalinga Horned Toads

The Fresno Warriors and the Coalinga Horned Toads will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Fresno is headed into the match having just posted their biggest victory since February 2nd on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 48-24 margin over Mt. Whitney. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 753rd, while the Pioneers are ranked 317th).

Meanwhile, Coalinga had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Trailblazers with a sharp 65-44 victory. The Horned Toads have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Fresno and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Coalinga, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
