Recap: Dover Eagles vs. York County Tech Spartans
The Dover Eagles had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 42-21 margin over York County Tech. That's another feather in the cap for Dover, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
York County Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Le'Icessess Harrison, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Marissa Parker was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
Dover's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for York County Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Dover will square off against Gettysburg at TBD on Saturday. York County Tech won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. James at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
