Baseball Recap: Ar-We-Va Comes Up Short

Ar-We-Va fell victim to Coon Rapids-Bayard and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Crusaders, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on June 10th.

Ar-We-Va has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Looking ahead, Ar-We-Va will challenge South Central Calhoun at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, they will host West Lyon at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
