Soccer Recap: Summerville Comes Up Short

Summerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Sierra Timberwolves. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 591st, while the Timberwolves are ranked 66th).

Summerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Sierra, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1-1.

Summerville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Franklin on the 13th. As for Sierra, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Mountain House on the 13th.
