Soccer Game Preview: Amador vs. Liberty Ranch

The Amador Buffaloes will take on the Liberty Ranch Hawks in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Amador's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Amador came up short against Bradshaw Christian on Friday, falling 7-1.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch kept a clean sheet against Union Mine on Friday. Everything went their way against the Diamondbacks as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Juliana Romero and Libby Portillo scored all three of Liberty Ranch's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Amador's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Liberty Ranch, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3-1.
