Soccer Recap: Camden County Starts Season with Victory Against Effingham County

Camden County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Effingham County Rebels onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Friday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Wildcats were the better team in the second half.

Dane Weaver and Angel Rivera scored both of Camden County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Camden County has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Brunswick on the 11th. As for Effingham County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Savannah Country Day on the 13th.
