Soccer Recap: Logan Comes Up Short

If Logan was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Athens on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chieftains lost 6-1 to the Grove City Greyhounds on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Logan of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Grove City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Logan and Grove City will both be playing Reynoldsburg the next time they take the pitch. The Greyhounds will host the Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chieftains will host them at 7:15 p.m. on September 11.
