Milton and Alpharetta are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. The Milton Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Alpharetta Raiders at 7:55 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Milton fought the good fight in their overtime game against Denmark on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Denmark by a score of 3-2. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Alpharetta fell victim to Johns Creek and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Gladiators by a score of 1-0. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alpharetta's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Milton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Milton skirted past Alpharetta 2-1 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Milton since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
