Basketball Recap: Armijo Gets the Win

Armijo won the last time they faced Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Armijo Royals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Valley Vikings, sneaking past 45-42. The win was some much needed relief for the Royals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Armijo's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11. As for Valley, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armijo will face off against Florin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley, they will square off against West Campus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Campus will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
