Lisbon waltzed into their contest on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They never let the Central City Wildcats get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering the Lions have won 15 matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Lisbon's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-12. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Central City, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-13.

Lisbon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central City has already played their next game (against Calamus-Wheatland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
