Shasta has gone 9-1 against Red Bluff recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Shasta Wolves will host the Red Bluff Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Shasta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season.

Shasta is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since December 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Chico by a score of 47-44.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Riley Rosales, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenna Dannenberg, who put up seven points.

Meanwhile, Red Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 67-42 to Pleasant Valley. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Vikings are ranked 24th).

Red Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Shasta, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Shasta took their victory against Red Bluff in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 61-36. Will Shasta repeat their success, or does Red Bluff have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
