Baseball Recap: Calhoun County Comes Up Short

Calhoun County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to the Monroe Golden Tornadoes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 29-1 last Wednesday.

Calhoun County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Monroe, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-13.

As of now, neither Calhoun County nor the Golden Tornadoes have any future games scheduled.
