Football Game Preview: White Plains Wildcats vs. Anniston Bulldogs + How To Watch

White Plains hasn't had much luck against Anniston recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

White Plains took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Etowah with a 27-21 victory.

Meanwhile, Anniston put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oneonta 35-6. Considering the Bulldogs have won five contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jabari Williams and Quintavious Cunningham. Williams rushed for 142 yards and one score on only 12 carries while Cunningham rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown.

Anniston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 252 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Anniston's record now sits at 8-0. As for White Plains, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-5.

White Plains was dealt a bruising 46-14 loss at the hands of Anniston in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
