St. Thomas Academy extended their road winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Dominic Baez. The Cadets put the hurt on the Apple Valley Eagles with a sharp 36-14 victory on Thursday with plenty of help from Baez, who rushed for 163 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for ten yards and one touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

St. Thomas Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Matthew Wagner and Sam McNellis.

St. Thomas Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Apple Valley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
