If Broomfield was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Northglenn on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the Silver Creek Raptors by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Broomfield were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Silver Creek apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Broomfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Silver Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.
