Football Recap: Gore Takes a Loss

Gore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 38-7 defeat at the hands of the Central Tigers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 1, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Gore's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gore will take on Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central, they will square off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
