Basketball Recap: Maleigha Younkin Key Part of a Team Effort in Rams Win

Turkeyfoot Valley Area hadn't done well against Shade recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Shade Panthers. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Turkeyfoot Valley Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maleigha Younkin, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. Kiley Mitchell was another key player, putting up 14 points along with eight boards and four steals.
