Softball Recap: Tri-Cities Bulldogs vs. Douglass Astros
Tri-Cities's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Douglass Astros get on the board and left with a 24-0 victory. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 8.6 runs per game.
Alysa Mayo was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mayo was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Tri-Cities got a massive performance out of Jkoi Morgan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Aguilar, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Tri-Cities always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .839. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
